As good as she is in the IM, this is Coe’s much better chance at a state title. I think I incorrectly identified Parkhe as a freshman in a tweet Saturday, which just illustrates further the lack of a season last year. This might also be the most open event in terms of the number of different winners we could have with Rentz also joining the fray under 55.
Leslie Wendel in the final heat is the only remaining scorer from 2 years ago, so youth will be served as Maya Arroyo joins Parkhe and Rentz as underclassmen with a great shot at top 6.
